HISTORY OF ATS
Manufacturing of ATS treatment systems began in 1988. Prior to that year over 300 wastewater treatment plants were designed and produced by ATS staff under other manufactured titles such as Bio-Pure, Nor-Cal Pacific, Western Bio-Pure, and Aqua-Tech International, Inc. These processes, even though modern at that time, were by design configuration self-limiting and not capable of accommodating diverse or greater loadings. Due to the problems these process limitations posed, Jim Allred, president of ATS, brought the talents of these experienced people together to build upon their successes and carry ATS into the future. Thus the name ADVANCED TREATMENT SYSTEMS, INC.
From the earlier days, ATS upgraded its "Standard Flow" single stage sequencing batch reactor (SBR) treatment plant process capable of treating larger hydraulic and organic loadings. In 1991 ATS added a new biological process capable of biological ammonia nitrogen removal. This process, referred to as our "MRC Process", is a dual alternative reactor design capable of treating hydraulic loadings from 800 GPD up to 1.0 MGD.
ATS is comprised of professionals dedicated to the concept that protecting our environment for future generations is a source of our natural heritage. While supporting economic development, ATS is committed to the preservation of our air and water quality by manufacturing treatment equipment designed to remove a broad range of organic contaminants.
ATS treatment systems are designed, engineered, and constructed using the latest technical advancements found in the wastewater industry today. ATS' treatment concepts were created by professionals who have over fifty six years of design and plant operations experience. ATS design staff members are also state certified treatment plant operators. "WE OPERATE WHAT WE MANUFACTURE", thus our designs are based upon actual operational experiences.
THE ATS DESIGN
ATS offers economical treatment systems designed for trouble-free operation capable of treating a wide variety of wastewaters. These include domestic sewage, and commercial and industrial wastewater. Each ATS system is ideally suited for any application that does not have access to a central community or municipal wastewater treatment facility. Installations are now successfully servicing various types of applications including the following:
