Note:
Clear water decanted from the biological reactors once exposed to chlorination and a minimum of 30 minutes of contact time, is discharged out of the contact chamber. Depending upon the application requirements this discharge could either be pumped direct to the discharge outfall or processed further through sand or multi-media Polishing Filters and then through Ultra-Violet Sterilization. Polished and sterilized effluent meets U.S. EPA Effluent Reclaim and Reuse Standards.
