Note:
Excess sludge is removed from the Digester tanks, conditioned, and then
dewatered under extreme pressure forcing water less than 10 microns
out of the solids leaving a sludge cake ready for final disposal.
Water leaving the press is sent back through the biological reactors
for re-treatment.
